Tema: Pune (India): Cubos lineales / Sanjay Puri Architects

Linear cuboids seemingly stacked randomly comprise this software office building designed on an extremely long plot with a narrow frontage towards the main road. The plot is only 55 M wide and 305 M deep.
The stacked floors shift at each level creating outdoor terraces fronting the lengths of the office areas within, in turn creating an open usable space at each level. The weather in Pune city, India where this building is located varies from 16c – 28c allowing frequent usage of outdoor spaces. The design thus creates open outdoor spaces as extensions of the interior office spaces.
The building length is broken up by three entrances along its side and voids through the building which are also usable terraces.
The design thus creates a sculptural building with extensive outdoor areas as an extension of the indoor offices maximizing on the climatic conditions prevailing in the city, of its location and transforms the extensive linearity of the site to its advantage.

Parece que en Worldarchitecturenews.com son amiguitos de este arquitecto porque les están publicando todo los edificios que hacen recientemente. La verdad es que aunqu esta vez sea ortogonal, no deja de ser más de lo mismo (aunque este según mi manera de ver está alto mejor)

Que pasa, que ahora se ha puesto de moda este tipo de construcción? es el mismo tipo de diseño que otros dos edificios que he visto en los últimos días en el foro, uno en la India y otro en Dubai, creo que era.

Se estan equivocando con esta moda retro-setentera. Ahora que vuelvan a sacar los televisores tipo casco de moto y todo eso, jeje

A mi me gusta! Y en India tienen mucho espacio así que... por que no?

No me hace mucha gracia, no es feo, pero tampoco le encuentro lo bonito.

Lo que se ve por fuera no tiene mala pinta, habría que ver en la realidad y desde dentro esas enormes galerías laterales, que salen tan aparentes en los render.
